I can't cut my hair or tame my hair to look all natural. If your hair is natural, what products do you use? My hair is pretty much stiff and unhealthy lol. I usually make sure my relaxer is Super, I'm definitely killing my hair : ( .
I recently made this weave and people kept thinking it was my own natural hair. haha. Little did they know......


I recently went to the dentist.
wow! they are so overrated....I had to get my root canal done and it didn't hurt one bit! I got 5 injections to numb the place while the drilling was in process but I was sooo nervous I could literally feel it. I was requested to come back the upper week, since I wasn't prepared. Thanks to my dentist he was so patient with me!

I am tired! What else can replace this?? What else....we eat RICE every blessed day.
Even if we don't, we eat it for the most part of our lives!
It's already becoming boring....well unless there's DODO 'plantain' involved : D

I recently drove to Saudi Arabia border but I couldn't get in because my mum was driving. Women aren't allowed to drive. We didn't have a man with us i.e father or husband. Also no visa ; P

The night life in the middle east is pretty amazing!
Good food, cocktails and techno/house/pop music and nice people

I keep wondering which I prefer either being in school or having to wake up by 8a.m for work. As much as we want to graduate, I can assure you the working class life isn't as pretty as it seems. sigh...

It's been what?
7months since I updated lol, you seriously have to understand the fact that blogging is very time consuming. School can be an ass, so time has to be created to read other peoples blog, comment, think of what to blog about and then blog lol.
Forgetting twitter? we need to keep up with our timelines lol
Facebook? Nah, alot of Nigerians are off that for now
Tumbir? Yes, the new bloggers world. This I don't get
I don't have one till I get my camera.


Firstly! Thank God for my grades, he always seems to hear my cry!
But really though, how else can we pay God for all the good things he has done to us?
I seriously can't count my blessings (not like anyone can lol) or how many times I had to run back to him.

Secondly! I got a job : ) and I start on Sunday
According to a friend, why Sunday? Abi na janitor job you get haha. jokes*
Well, Sunday because its in the middle east and that is Monday for them while Friday and Saturday are weekends.
Any advice for first day of work? I'm kind of nervous.
It seems like first day of school in a new school already! :S

Summer Time
My List?
1.) If I get good pay- get myself a professional camera, an I-touch and maybe a new watch. Haven't worn one since God knows how long thanks to our phones.

2.) Knowledge- is the key. lol
I need more of this, I feel I'm behind on this aspect.
I need to start reading books, learning new things about the world and who knows maybe science lol. My goal for the holiday is 8novels at most, I already started with 'Eat Love Pray' by Elizabeth Gilbert! It's been good so far.

3.) Explore- I'm in the middle east. So I would definitely be checking out their clubs, food, hopefully I go on a cruise, go carting for sure.

4.) Blog- Update my blog as much as I can. I seriously wish I could make this private because I don't want to change my URL etc. I'm still deciding, what to do?
I wish I started off anonymous in the first place

5.) I'm seriously crossing my fingers about Brazil but I would see what the future holds if not. I'll have to sit my ass down.

I recently missed my friends birthday party after I made it clear that I was definitely going to attend but I didn't show up at the end of the day.
The problem is how should I make it up to them? I hate disappointing people, it so happened that everything didn't go as planned.

Period!

So I have finally decided to give you guys that personal information, I wasn’t willing to share for a while.
So you know that ‘P’, we girls get at the month, some dread it because of the heavy MPs that comes with it causing us to roll and cry while some are just used to their regular flow and couldn’t be bothered. But my own ‘P’ was serious mehn, I hadn’t seen this thing for a LONG time as per LONG Time, lets just say once in a blue moon, No? Ok, how about once this year? Hmmmm….

Shock come grip me, Ha. It’s been happening since I was 16, it came once in 2months. Ok it was no big deal because I really didn’t want to be stressed with the whole pain and fear of getting my ‘P’ disgrace me in public, I'm heavy like that .

I researched and asked people who were med students and all but no one could give a proper explanation, on the internet they said it was ...
No be disease sha. ‘Ope’(thank God).

This holiday, I decide to go check it.

Hospital:: It’s time for me to check my blood pressure and all the regular procedures before seeing the doctor.

Nurse: What’s your problem.

Me: ‘P’ no gree show for a while now.

Nurse: Looking confused. Shocked*, You sure no be belle? You sure your not preggy .

Me: At all.

Time to see the doctor! Not scared, just keeping my cool, I mean I knew I had no dirt to hide, at least

Doctor: Hi. Kilo dey (What’s the problem)

Me: I tell am again

Doctor: You sure you noe get belle!

Me: At all!

Doctor: Tell me now oooo before we do the check up, if you are make you talk, you know say I go find am weda u talk true or not

Me: Madam, e no possible, shey na me they talk am (It’s not possible)

Doctor: Tell me now oooo, you get boyfriend? No wahala just open up, any sexual intercourse of late, no protection?

Me: Ha! Only me all this things. Me sef , I come they think, if I get small belle.
*Honently, I was aghast.

Doctor: That’s your wahala sha, cause if you noe, give me the info now…result go final show. Let’s go check you!

Me: ???? How?, how is that done? Does it hurt?

Nurse: Na little discomfort, you go feel

Me: Discomfort? You gok!

*She got some long white thing, inserted a condom and put gel on it

I’m fine now though, got drugs and the ‘P’ is now heavy on me people!

I'M NOT GONE....yet!

Gosh!
I can't believe I haven't updated in months.
Apart from me it seems so many people on Blogville took a break.
School ended in late April, I started summer school early May. I lost 3 months in school.
I sacrificed my summer for summer school, trust me it wasn't FUN!!..My friends who stayed back for sometime where a bit of a distraction to be honest but I was able to survive. Summer school was not so fun but my results put a smile on my face. I thank God.
There is so much to catch up on but I don't know where to start!..
Something bizarre happened last week but I'm still contemplating on if I should have a post on it or not, It's really private. O well.

I really have to take my time to catch up on what you guys have been up too lately and you reading your posts.

So most of you should know by now that I'm a Lady Gaga fan, apparently she's a hermaphrodite.
But I still love her.
But the case really is about Caster Semenya, I know old gist. Trust me she's a boy or man which ever. Heard her voice? Sounds like a guy, even her expressions and the way she moves and all, really like a dude. South Africa, was so engrossed in celebrating her arrival, the medal she won and forgot about the issue that got the people wondering about her gender with her muscular body, deep voice, but with a females private part??? She was tested but they never said the result blah blah.
As a friend said,' She's the Man!!'

I feel like I'm in primary school again Yes!, not secondary, was in boarding most of my years.
Imagine, my mum went to Zambia, I'm chilling with my dad now. It's cool and all that but this night he seemed confused?!@ Lol. He started by saying we go to bed late and wake up late but ummmm aren't we on a break we asked?. NO, that shouldn't be a reason, besides you wake up by 2p.m and can't do anything. The whole day is gone, you should know by now! You can't read, write......Like seriously? What happened to last semester when I was dreading having sleepless nights because I had exams which I had to study for? Days of tedious assignments. Abeg! This is my time and nobody should disturb me, as he says he's coming to wake us up in the morning. Unfortunately this stupid hotel people didn't leave the keys behind the doors,, so we can't lock the door, so we plan to ignore him :D*. Like really who does that? I browse at night, read blogs : ), you know catch up on stuff like twitter, YBF e.t.c. At noon, nothing more rather than stare at CNN which repeats every single story line word for word one million and one times. Then I manage to gym for an hour, honestly, I try. Cook, read gosh this summer isn't as fun as I thought it would be but it's pretty chilled and I don't want THAT!

I wonder how you guys do it, I mean people who religiously go to the gym. I'm not Fat but I think it's time to put on some muscles you know. Well, I think having some would make you look hotter and makes you look toned. I can't keep up and I'm very lazy, sadly. All I do is 10 minutes on the bicycle, then some minutes on something your meant to run( don't know what it's called) on and then three minutes on the thread mill (Not easy), carry dumb bells ten times (I need muscles in my arms, small at least lol). After all this, I'm done. I'll rather starve than gym Ha!. But another secret I just figured is to stop eating rice, that stuff makes your tummy bloat, trust me. Moving on, I really love piercings. Not pain but piercings. I got my cartilage years back, after having it for eight months I thought I'll let it have air for one night and took it off. I know very silly, but it's meant to heal after eight months now. The next morning, the earring could go in half way but couldn't come out, my friend wanted to force it in. Hell no mehn, I wasn't going to go through that pain, so I let it close. I was seriously considering belly button but you can't swim for a month, It's summer there is now way I wouldn't swim. So I might get it done next year. for the main time I'll work on my packs lol. I still have four more piercings to get on my ears maybe five if I eventually do my tragus. I also want a nose piercing but not now. After watching some videos on it , I wasn't pleased, very scary!.

I'm in the middle east and it's Ramadan. It's fun for them but not really for me.
I imagined, I would visit all the attractions here, go on boat rides and the rest. We got the book of 100 things to do, imagine we called the Jet Skiing and Scuba diving but everything is banned or some funny story like that. My mum suggested we go watch dolphins.....????WHAT??? Sorry but I hate animals( no offense to animal lovers) . So we stuck to go- karting, their the masters in the Formular 1 ish!. I might get to go on my boat ride( I miss does days of takwa bay, not sure of the spelling though) or just get henna done. O did you guys ever go to Takwa bay? Where you had to take speed boats across to get to the beach and all the cool beach houses?.
Back on the Ramadan, we are supposed to be fully covered, it's freaking hot. Well it's no news.
I got loads of shorts and skimpy tops now everytime we're out I'm in jeans and a proper top how boring. No one comes out in the afternoon because their all asleep : ( but the fun part is when they break their fast by 6p.m. They party all through, they always have feast and all. You know like in Nigeria, when their fasting period is over they kill ram or so and invite friends and have a big party but here it's done everyday. Really nice. I might put some pictures up later, can't find my USB.
Its unbearably hot but I'm hanging in there. I'll soon be back to my cold weather which isn't what I want as well. We went to the stadium yesterday, it was small but beautiful. We played against Iran Lol. I know, strange. We won with 4 while Iran got 2, I'm not so interested in soccer but this time I was forced to watch. Wasn't bad tho, Live matches rock hehe.
At the end of this week we would be playing with Saudi Arabia and the winner gets to go to S.A for the world cups.
My parents are planning on going to South Africa next year to watch the world cup. It wasn't in my plan, by his grace if I don't take summer school again, ARGH!. Well I don't plan on doing so. When we vacate in April, I plan to go to Amsterdam then London but till then. Let's just pray and also hope there would be space for S.A! lol
I miss my days of traveling and exploring from Germany, to Greece, to England to Paris to Las Vegas, Kenya (hehe) gone are does days, come back please sniff*!. I really want to go to Asia and also visit other parts of the world and also see the wonders of the world. I'm praying that my spring break for next year may work out, maybe the Island or Cancun(Mexico)...till then jo!

It's amazing how Mohammed Ali traced his roots and found out he was from Ireland. Strange but cool. Imagine if Beyonce did hers and found out she was Igbo Lol, that would be funny and maybe Jay Z delta and Soulja boy Yoruba. Kanye - Kogi, Amber rose- Calabar. Ok I'll stop here.

I Remember...

Living in Ikeja
Close to Felas house/shrine
The area was protected by areas boys
Armed robbers feared houses around Allen
Why? No doubt, they were caught within 24hours by agbero boys
Everyday after school, I had to pass the shrine to get home: Day in, day out--It smelt like weed.

Taking a stroll was not an option
With all the area boys loitering around and making passes at ashewos.
Hmmm those ashewos, who paraded Ikeja hotel, their pot bellies hanging and their over colored faces.
I got used to hearing Felas songs over and over again.
I enjoyed the music coming from the shrine most of the time.
They were known for having random celebrations.

1st and 2nd of August always rings a bell--(Fela passed away)
When celebrating or mourning him, his songs were played 24/7 on both days
Some of his songs are stuck in my head e.g zombie, shakara, water no get enemy, etc.
My dad loved Fela,he had a collection of his 40something albums

My memory of the shrine faded, until last week my friend buzzed me to watch a video.
I was stunned!!
After all the years of living close to the shrine, I never had the idea of what drove the people crazy and the cause of their madness.
After this video, I clearly understood.

2nd Thoughts

Finally! I can say first year is over
Those months of being called a first year student have passed away.
It sucked being called a first year student or looked at as a JJC lol of the school, getting missing, holding maps and constantly asking for questions or directions.
I hate to say it but my first year was total HELL
I made very critical decisions before accepting my present school knowing deep down that I would have to sacrifice my social life for BOOKS! BOOKS!BOOKS!

You have no choice but love the freedom you get in university.
Nobody ringing the bell so you could wake up or having to rush your bath because you need to catch the bus and arrive on time for the first class.
I totally became laid back about everything once I started my first year, mostly the classes I disliked the most.
One thing for sure I'm a very slow dresser- before I'm done showering ..wahala
Whenever I knew I was running late for class, I'll rather just stay back and chill

Spanish class!! I hated the most.
My professor was slow, lifeless and taught very fast.
I suck at learning languages( don't ask why I took the course, It was compulsory ).
It was hard for me to keep up. I was nonchalant about the class and the course.
Then exam came hmmm mehn it was like Arabic written all over. No freaking translation!!.
Result was out- not by any way impressive and I failed my Spanish( I hate that I have to admit that here. well...) :s
I'm not a failure! Never was one.A very bright student since I can remember
So the question was why? how? and why now?
All the frustration pain and anger were felt within .

Second semester came, a little effort was put in.
In all I was able to face my challenge successfully, well from my current result(unofficial).
I thank God, I was able to pull through with him by my side.
As for social life-- I have given up hope
If fun and hard work were part of experiences learnt in university
It probably would only be hard work for me

Lessons/ experiences are learnt from first year!
Once bitten twice shy. 'Nothing shall repeat itself like it was 1st year'....

I really really hate seeing peoples freaking ear wax.
I was on the bus 2days ago writing with my bag beside me, clearly I didn't want anyone beside me.
A girl gets on the bus, wearing a nice summer dress, punching her blackberry with her TNA(Canadian designer) bag with her,gladiators...watever sha .
She sat next to me so, I decide to use my eyes to scan her lol & what did I see?
Her ear wax in her ear, hanging and sticking on her hair in her ear omgosh!
Don't even ask why I'll be looking into someones ear
It was that bad, I had to notice
please o ooo people should learn to keep their ears clean
